My flockbot page is an account of my progress in the class, but now it is a class effort. I will update on my thoughts and other work that I have personally done on the project for this specific page.

The bird that *almost* flew

This was the first official bird that actually won the small design competition within the class, but because of fabrication difficulties (we needed fabrication to include vacuum forming and CNC-ing) we chose to have another small competition.

This is the laser-cut prototype of my bird that almost flew.

2nd attempt in the flockbot design. yes, i know it looks very much like a stingray. maybe i did it to be sarcastic, maybe it was just coincidence that it turned out that way in reality.
